Choice Enrollment Starts Feb. 1, 2026

To begin your journey at Messmer, follow these steps:

1. Submit a Messmer High School Application. (Opens August 1)

2. Send us a copy of your 8th grade report card. (If a transfer student, a transcript and most recent report card are required.)

3. Send us a copy of one of the following standardized test scores: MAP, STAR, or FORWARD.

4. Complete the financial aid process:

• Milwaukee Parental Choice Program (MPCP) for City of Milwaukee residents. The MPCP application opens February 1, 2026. You must apply online: Choice Application

OR

• Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP). The WPCP application opens February 1, 2025.  Note: WPCP is only open until April 15.  You must apply online: Choice Application

OR

• If your family does not qualify for the Choice Program, financial aid may still be available! Download and complete a Financial Aid Application.

NOTE: Students wishing to participate in the Milwaukee or Wisconsin Parental Choice Program are able to apply during an open enrollment period (WPCP begins February 1 – April 15, 2026; MPCP begins February 1, 2026).
